Exterior Painting
As with interior painting, prep work is the key to a long-lasting, quality exterior paint job.  Improper preparation is the #1 reason for paint failure.  If the wooden siding is in sound condition, we pressure wash every home before we do anything else.  This process not only removes loose paint chips, but it prepares the rest of the siding to hold the new paint.  Also, all areas with mold are pretreated to kill the spores because washing, alone, does not guarantee complete removal.

We use airless sprayers whenever possible to work more efficiently.   When wooden siding or logs are sprayed, we always brush in the paint or stain to ensure that  it is completely worked into the wood grain.  Care is taken to mask off all windows, doors, and any other areas that are not to be painted to protect them from overspray.  Care is also taken to cover any shrubery and plantings to protect them as best as possible.

Exterior surfaces that can be painted:
     Wood, aluminum, & steel siding
Vinyl Siding can be painted as long as you use a color the same or lighter than the existing color.
So, if you are tired of that faded, wore out, "maintainance-free" siding, give it a fresh coat of paint!
